Students researched 'Traditional Clothing' in the 4 countries we are studying (Peru, Tunisia, Ukraine and India) using Google Images. Students took jot notes and drew pictures to show the clothing in each region. Some students have 1-2 more countries to complete tonight at home. They have 4 small hundreds charts that they are going to shade in when counting by 2s, 3s, 4s and a number of their choice.
Once they have shaded in the numbers, they are going to write 3 different patterns that they notice from what they shaded. Students will not be in school for Valentine's Day this year because of teacher's convention but we will provide time for them to hand out cards at the end of the day on Wednesday February 13th. If your child would like to hand out cards we ask that they put their name saying who it is from. It is not necessary to put who it is to because the students will put one in each classmates bag. We will make brown paper bags for them to collect their cards. There are 20 students in each class. We ask that students bring either 20 for each student in their own class or they can bring 40 if they would like to give to both classes. Students are not required to bring cards for that day. Thank you
